Stormy Daniels told tales of Trump
Not only is Trump cognitively challenged and ill and old and crazy, but he had an affair with a porn star (“Stormy Daniels”) eleven years ago.
Hey, why not?
Except that maybe he didn’t. Just like maybe he’s not cognitively challenged or crazy or ill—and the “old” part is a matter of which side of 70 the viewer may be on.
However:
The White House, Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen, and Daniels have all denied that she was paid off for her silence or that the sex ever happened. In a January 10 statement released by Cohen on her behalf, Daniels said that any allegations that she and Trump had a sexual relationship were “completely false.”
That’s now. Back then (“then” being 2011, about five years after the alleged affair happened) Daniels sang a different tune. Is she telling the truth now, or was she then?
The more important question being, “At this point, does anyone care?”
Is there anyone in America who doesn’t know that Trump has a history of infidelity? Whether he was unfaithful to Melania or just his previous wives, and with whom (especially when a private citizen, as in 2006), who would be surprised to hear it was true? His history of infidelity was factored in by Americans when they voted for him.
On the other hand, according to what I’m reading about what Daniels said back then in her interview, if you take it as true (although there’s no particular reason to), Trump comes out smelling like a rose compared to poor Aziz Ansari:
She described the sex as “textbook generic.”
In the print version of the magazine, Daniels expanded further, describing the sex as “nothing crazy. It was one position, what you would expect someone his age to do.”
Once again, Trump the billionaire turns out to represent middle America!

A source tells The Daily Beast that the full, unedited interview that will run later this week is 5,500 words of “cray.” Daniels didn’t leave much out in describing the affair, which involved a few more encounters in the months following their first tryst in Tahoe.
According to the source, the transcript contains details of “[w]hat he’s like in bed, pillow talk, she talks about what he’s like down there”¦”
What would really drive the left crazy is if Trump’s brags about “down there” turn out to be true or even somewhat true. And they couldn’t really challenge Daniels on the subject, because women always tell the truth, right? Right? What’s more, as a porn star she’s somewhat of an expert on the matter of “down there.”
Various media outlets had declined to run the story earlier. That’s how shaky it must be. For example, “The Daily Beast was also chasing the story last fall, but, like several other outlets, was unable to lock it down.”
Daniels is a Republican, by the way.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not. What matters is that it’s one more tidbit of slanderous innuendo added to the pile of propaganda, designed to result in either his impeachment and removal or his reelection loss in 2020.
Oh, Dear. What would JFK say? What would Teddy say? Bill Clinton? How can we tolerate a President with a history of philandering? Well, it helps if he keeps it out of the White House.
I understand the temptation, but, never admired men who did. It wasn’t for me to judge either. It has gone on for a very long time, and we know it isn’t a one way street. So, ho hum.
Clintons trashy behaviors, Hollywood sex scandals, clergy and teacher sex scandals, have rendered ” shocking sex” useless as a weapon against a political opponent. This has been something the Left has been striving for, & they got their wish but perhaps are surprised that it is a 2 way street. Sexual shockers died with my late maiden auntie . Lol.

In fact, Trump’s latest tweet has put a new spin on the phrase “Manchurian candidate.”
It turns out that eleven years ago, Stormy Daniels and Trump both had sex change operations. They then exchanged lives. Stormy is Trump, and Trump is Stormy. We have a porn star in the White House.
Hollywood is thrilled, the media are dizzy, and the Democrats have a new-found respect for the office.
Oh my, what have we got ourselves into?
Are they dragging up all these faux controversies in the hopes that all the negative publicity and badgering will make him resign so he doesn’t have to put up with it any longer?
These things – he swore in the oval office! he had an affair with a porn actress! – are so common as to be of no interest to most people, and yet here they come, day after day, week after week. Well, maybe not the porn actress affair thingy, but affairs, in general, are not uncommon these days.
I can’t think of any other reason why the Democrats would try to make such a big deal of this stuff.

Thanks for the link. The questioner had one strawman after another torched with a smile, but like an Energizer Bunny she just kept propping up another. It was well worth watching.
It’s not a case of a boss exploiting his intern. She wasn’t molested while unconscious. It wasn’t even a courtship cut short following discovery. She was not rape-raped or raped. There were no babies aborted the day, month, trimester after.
Verdict: It’s a private affair.

The WSJ reports that the payment was made right before the election.
The Pornstar spoke about this before that…to another publication…apparently because she was worried that Trump wouldn’t pay. She was trying to sell the story instead.

Apparently Jessica Drake also received a settlement…or at least signed an NDA saying she can’t talk about Trump, according to her publicist…who then reversed course on the NDA, presumably because the NDA says she can’t talk about the NDA.
Even her lawyer (Gloria Alred!!!) ain’t speaking about Trump & Drake, Trump & Drake settlement, and Trump & Drake’s NDA…either because Gloria doesn’t like talking about such stuff or because the the first rule of the NDA is that there is no NDA.
Peterson is a national treasure that Canada seems not to value sufficiently.
When I worked in France, my French friends thought it was crazy not to assume that the President had a mistress. Discussing such arrangements at lunch, they, like Pangloss would remind me that I lived in the best of all possible worlds:

As a case in point I remember when Reagan was running for president and a good bit of negative attention was directed toward him because he would be the first divorced president.
Trump is twice-divorced and nary a word other than to mention it in passing.
