Suing the FBI? — 11 Comments

  1. There’s also the simple fact that police are not actually under any obligation to “charge into the bullets” or otherwise put their lives on the line. Most choose to do so anyhow, because of how effective doing so is at keeping the peace, but honestly, police are not obligated to do anything more than investigate crimes after they have occurred, and provide the evidence they gather to the justice system, for determining what laws were broken and what penalties should be assigned to whom.

Ending the threat and saving lives are optional extensions of their duties, ones that aren’t even allowed in some particularly authoritarian precincts.

  2. As far as I’m concerned Trump should fire the current director and anyone in the top two tiers who was present in the Obama years.

    Pour encourager les autres…

Sheriff Israel said that Peterson had failed to follow protocol. At least, he seemed to be saying that when he made these remarks.

That is a separate issue from whether police have a legal duty to rush into an active shooter situation, however, and can be sued for not doing so.

FBI agents were at no risk to catch bullets with regard to Parkland and Russiagate. They simply couldn’t be bothered to follow their own protocols or investigate Russia’s meddling in our elections.

Instead they have been running interference for Hillary and working behind Trump’s back to prevent his election and harass (or worse) his presidency.

Is that before or after you applied OC (Occam’s Razor) to it?

  6. Without accountability, there cannot be meaningful reform.

Without accountability, there cannot be redress of grievance.

Without accountability there cannot be justice.

  7. WHo ever heard of a slave suing his master? A sheep suing his shepherd for being slaughtered?

A US Citizen is legally a slave of the state. There were some interesting legal judgments and precedence concerning the anti slavery ammendment. There was also the various laws Congress passed allowing for concentration camps that would nullify US citizenship in a time of war. Most of those laws are still on the books, unenforced.

Many of us thought that Hussein might be the one to utilize them. However, the LA and DS can wait a few decades more. It’s not too late for CW2 to officially kick off in the next 30 years. After all, Americans were slaughtering each other as soon as even 30 years before 1860. Plenty of time for them to pull the plug on this liberty experiment. They don’t exactly have all the time in the world, but certainly sufficient for their phases.

First, the age-old premise of sovereign immunity is almost always raised when someone sues the government.

The American people or even the State is not the sovereign. So who is the sovereign? Heh.

The baseline rule is that a citizen cannot sue his or her government.

I thought the USA propaganda is that the government are the servants of the people. When did this get upside down? In the Declaration of Independence, wasn’t a tyranny supposed to be gotten rid of. If declaring war on the State is valid, then how are people supposed to resolve concerns peacefully if the State refuses to cooperate.

A congressional investigation, and that’s about it.

Which means, of course, that the Deep State decides. The people only pretend that their *selected not elected* officials have any say.

Without justice, we will have no peace.

  9. It’s inconceivable that you’re still wasting your time, om, and mine.

Maybe after you pass through the Veil and are under trial judgment, I’ll have time to point out everything you know that was wrong.
